Deanna entered the employee benefits field in 2016 after working as a tax preparer certified to represent corporate and individual taxpayers before the IRS. She has held her insurance license since 2013. Before working for CoastalWB, Deanna worked for a national agency in various client support roles, including account management and servicing, as well as quoting plan designs. Within CoastalWB, Deanna’s primary role is to support Employee Navigator, oversee complex benefit related issues, and spearhead the RFP process. She is heavily involved in client management, working closely with our groups to address any invoice discrepancies, eligibility issues, and other matters related to feeds between Employee Navigator and in-force carriers.

Deanna is also involved in our RFP process, especially when requesting complicated disability plan designs. She has the coveted Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) certification, which qualifies her as an expert with the intricacies of disability insurance.
